# /specs — specification sheet

Minimum system requirements.

This site is, in fact, 100% HTML & CSS with a few dozen lines of plain JavaScript. It will run on anything that has a screen and a vague recollection of the web. Below, however, we list our recommended configuration for maximum vibe.

CPUanything ≥ 1997 · a Pentium II is plenty · an M-series chip is overkill and faintly embarrassing
Memory32 MB recommended · 64 MB for guestbook use · more and you've misunderstood
DisplayCRT preferred · 4:3 ideal · 1024×768 minimum · phosphor glow if possible
Colourtrue colour acceptable · 256 colour is period-correct · 16 colour is perfect · monochrome is art
Connectiondial-up supported · v.92 or better · ISDN if feeling flashy · fibre is fine, we guess
Browserany with CSS3 and SVG · NetSurf works · Lynx renders but misses the point · Edge probably also fine
FontIBM Plex Mono (served) · or anything monospace · or bitmap VT323 if you're serious
Inputkeyboard mandatory · mouse optional · trackball respected · typewriter unsupported at this time
Audionot used · PC speaker beeps tolerated · please no autoplay
Storage~220 KB on disk · fits on any floppy ever made · including the 3.5" HD with the clicky shutter
Operating Systemyes · any · including the one on the fridge
Postureslouched, slightly amused
